Beautificaiton Committee

 June, 2001

The heavy rains in May were a big boost for beautification.  Dave Pierpont, with a lot of water hauling and some help from Mother Nature, is doing well keeping the Royal palms near the entrance and the coconut palms and flowers in other areas healthy.  The Pierponts also made and planted a flower box at the intersection of Jefferson and Arawak - Thanks, Dave & Sandy!

You may have noticed some work on water drainages, especially near the coconut grove on Jefferson.  This is part of an on-going project to accommodate the large amount of run-off from Estate St. John.  Beautification has been working on this in an effort to maintain these areas so they can be mowed and kept free from the ever enthusiastic Tan-Tan.

Roadside litter is a bit of a problem on Judith’s Fancy.  Whoever feels Jefferson Way is the best depository for their spent Marlboro Light and Newport packs and now Heineken bottles, please

find a trash receptacle!  Home owners, please have a nice chat with workmen, service people, and family members about how much easier it is to contain your own trash rather than having your neighbors help you.
